As we all know Reliance Jio launched officially on 5th september 2016 and gained a subscriber base of over 16 million in the launch of first month creating the world record. Jio first launched unlimited calls, data and sms under preview offer, but only limited to some devices. Later unlimited offer have been extended to all 4G mobiles under Jio Welcome offer, soon subscribers too increased and that lead to severe competition in the telecom sector.
Jio users sometimes unable to make calls and gets busy tone as “All lines to this route are currently busy, Please try again later”. This issue is not due to jio sim problem or network problem, this is mainly due to inter connectivity issue between the operators like airtel, idea, vodafone etc.,
Interconnect points is the main reason for call connectivity issues of Jio: Lets understand this clearly
For every incoming call that comes to the jio sim from other operator, jio has to actually pay for the incoming call to that operator for providing interconnect point for the call and vice versa. As the jio calls are made through data, then there is no question of interconnect charges and there will be loss of revenue to the current operators. So they are intentionally blocking the calls of jio thus leading to connectivity issues.
Reliance Jio has filed case against the other operators and claims it as anti-competitive measure for not providing sufficient interconnect points for smooth connectivity of the calls to all its users. Hope the inter connectivity issue resolved soon and maximum can enjoy the unlimited offer of Reliance Jio.
